Students vote in a mock referendum

By Courtney Cameron

Students of Glasgow University have been queuing up all day to vote in a mock Scottish Independence Referendum.

The polling stations have been set up at the universities two unions and organisers are expecting around two thousand votes.

The question being asked is exactly the same as the official referendum expected to take place in 2014, “Should Scotland be an independent country?”

Opinions among students taking part appear to be mixed.
