City News was on the lookout for the next future Leona Lewis or Olly Murs at the riverside today, where thousands of hopefuls queued outside in the rain for the chance to show the judges that they have the X Factor.
The bad weather didn’t put off the auditionees, who were cheering and clapping as they waited to show off their singing talents to the judges inside the SECC.

From the talent we’ve heard so far, the judges have a tough task ahead of them!
