The opening of a multimillion-pound scheme set up to support Scots celebrating their part in Glasgow Commonwealth Games, took place today at Glasgow Green.

‘Celebrate’ is originated by the Scottish Lottery Distributor’s Forum (SLDF) and offers funding for projects which celebrate Glasgow 2014.

The initiative aims to create a legacy that will last long after the Games are over and is described as “one big Scottish party”
