The Rolling Stones
British rock legends The Rolling Stones have been announced as the final headline act for this year’s Glastonbury Festival in Pilton.
The four day event will see Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian also take up headline slots.
An appearance from The Stones will be a first for the band and singer Mick Jagger is clearly excited about it all, tweeting: “Can’t wait to play Glastonbury. I have my wellies and my yurt!”
Although the news broke last night of their attendance at the festival Jagger has made comments in interviews asking about the weather for the legendary festival.
Kasabian guitarist also fuelled rumours of a Stones set after he said: “I hope ours is the most talked about performance of the weekend, but that would be a miracle because The Rolling Stones are playing Glastonbury.”
Alongside big name headline acts Glastonbury will also be the first festival to live stream the event with viewers getting the chance to watch different stages and performances as they happen.
PJ and Duncan
The noughties are making a comeback thanks to funny men Ant and Dec with their 1994 hit single ‘Let’s Get Ready to Rhumble’.
Performing on their ITV show Saturday Night Takeaway the Geordie duo went back to their Byker Grove roots and brought PJ and Duncan back to life.
Since the performance the single has reached number one on the iTunes chart, sold 35,000 copies and looks like it is heading straight for an Official UK number one.
The single only reached number nine when it was first released 19 years ago.
Time to get the boyband curtains cut back in.
Troubled teen superstar Justin Bieber is in the papers for all the wrong reasons, yet again.
Bieber has been accused of assaulting his neighbour and threatening to kill them.
The 19 year old ‘Baby’ singer has reportedly spat on his neighbour during a verbal altercation at his Calabasas home.
L.A. Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore told E! News that there is an on-going investigation into the allegations.
