Family appeals for missing Glasgow man’s return

by Shelley Queen

The mother of missing Glasgow man Ross Ramsay has made an appeal for her son to let her know he is safe.

Ramsay went missing last Thurday, after drinking alone in the Ben Nevis pub on Argyle Street, where he was a well known regular.

He later went to Gala Casino on Sauchiehall Street, where he left his wallet and mobile phone with staff, before leaving at midnight.

He is not thought to have gambled at the casino while he was there.

He has not been seen since.

Speaking at a press conference at Maryhill Police Station earlier today,  Mrs Ramsay pleaded for the 32 year old to get in touch.

“Ross, we love you very much and miss you dearly. Your family and friends want you home.

“We understand that if you don’t feel that you are ready to do so, please just let us know that you are safe.”

She also asked for people to contact police with any information they may have regarding his whereabouts, or the night of his disappearance.
