THAT was the advice of TV presenter Amanda Hamilton as she lent her support to the Take on Life campaign with around 50 members of the Glasgow Health Walk network which is encouraging people to get more exercise.
The walks which are free and are led by trained volunteers aim to provide a friendly atmosphere to the outdoor activity.
Heather MacLeod, a trained volunteer, said: “I got involved in the health walks in 2009 and started supporting groups and got more invested in the benefits that people get from going on these walks.
“It is great getting out and about and you feel better in yourself and happier.”
