Edinburgh welcomes Scotland’s first Krispy Kreme

Scotland saw it’s first ever Krispy Kreme open in Edinburgh yesterday.

The Hermiston Gait branch is next to Edinburgh Park train station, and provides a little slice of modern America in an unlikely retail park location. However, with their stellar coffee and of course doughnuts, the surrounding office workers are sure to appreciate the latest addition to the area.

The store also has a drive through for those who need to  grab a quick pick me up (and a sweet treat if needed!)

The first 12 customers through the doors received a VIP goody bag, and special edition tartan Krispy Kreme scarves were designed.

Hermiston Gait is a hot light store, featuring a doughnut theatre where customers can watch the production process and enjoy a classic glazed doughnut straight from the production line.

Now all we need is for the next store to open in Glasgow…
